Who runs The Hybrid Initiative?
The Hybrid Initiative is a privately funded company owned by The Hybrid Athletic Commission. As mysterious as it seems, the identities of these men is kept a hidden in order to protect their individuality and personal lives. Instead of dealing with the talent and media, they in turn hired a "mouth piece," who's sole goal is to be the bridge between bosses and the roster. The commissioner's name is Dominic Gray.
What is the goal of The Hybrid Initiative?
To take professional wrestling elements from across the world, puroresu, lucha, catch-as-can and mix it with elements of Mixed Martial Arts to create a brand new product for the industry.

The company was originally founded in January of 2015. Our bi-weekly event, "War on Wednesdays" will be broadcasted from The St. Paul River Centre, in The Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Max capacity is 3,500.
Where is "home base" for The Hybrid Initiative?
The Hybrid Initiative's base is in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Why does this company exist? Why should I (you) care?
Whoever makes up the Hybrid Athletic Commission decided that there was not enough diversity in professional wrestling, and it was a "tragedy" that the United States of America, aside of mainly internet fans were ignorant to different styles across the world. You should follow The Hybrid Initiative because we guarantee that you will not find a company out there like us. We are a truly unique experience, one that offers not just jam-packed action, but also is second to none in overall athletic ability.
How do I catch the shows?
"War on Wednesdays" will be streamed off of our website. To watch the event, there is two options; first, the standard showing which will feature ads and will be FREE! No charge, absolutely FREE! But if you want to catch an ad-free version, there is a premium subscription for $6.99 a month. Due to bandwidth concerns and costs, there will be no option to watch the event LIVE but once the show is wrapped up, it will be added to our result section and will be able to be streamed.
Why do we offer an Octagon shaped ring?
A few different reasons actually. One of them being so we can allow those who are trained in the style of Lucha Libre to excel attacking from different angles. Another reason is because we wanted to offer a truly different experience from anything you've seen before. With an Octagon shaped ring, it forces one to pay attention at all times as there's 7 different angles to be attacked from.
Why do you use a round and judging system?
The Hybrid Initiative prides itself on meshing different approaches from around the globe. We felt as if a no stalling, five minute round (3 rounds or 5, depending on the type of match) forces our roster to be well conditioned and have the fans always be happy with the product. Using the traditional boxing/MMA style judging also is a unique take, as it forces a sense of urgency to finish the match and finish decisively. As the saying goes, "don't leave it up to the judges."
How can matches be won?
Pinfall and submission are the two most likely. There however, are times when The Hybrid Initiative's officials are forced to step in and stop the match if one is not able to defend himself. Matches can also end via knockout and of course, by decision if it goes to the judges.
What's The Hybrid Initiative's "promo style" expectancy?
Don't walk your dog, cook Apple-Banana Pancakes and smell roses in the garden while on The Hybrid Initiative's air time. We want promos, especially those for matches to be full of trash talk and hype. The Hybrid Initiative is all about providing the fans with a big match atmosphere each time that bell sounds, and in order to be successful in that effort, promos for matches need to be hyped! If you feel the need to walk your dog, cook Apple-Banana Pancakes and smell roses, feel free to use the "Real World" forum where it will fit perfectly. Keep match promos on the "promo" board, and yes.. we are strict on this rule.

In order to keep sanity, matches will be done in short summaries, enough to give you visualization of how it unfolded. Results will be broken up by rounds, with scores per round posted at the end of each of the paragraphs.
Is there a certain amount of time before the deadline a promo must go up in The Hybrid Initiative? When is the deadline for show promos?
Since "War on Wednesday" is bi-weekly, we have a one week first promo deadline, meaning the first match promo must be put up one week before the deadline. If this deadline is not met, it will be up to the opponent to "OK" letting it slide, if they do not, then you face forfeiting your match. The actual deadline for show promos will be the Wednesday of the show date, the time is not yet figured out. Once we come to a fitting conclusion, we will update this section.
Are there good guys and bad guys in The Hybrid Initiative?
Sorta, but not in the traditional sense that you may be familiar with. We encourage that you have your character be a "face" or a "heel" but at the end of the day, the fans will determine what you are. People ultimately cheer and boo who they want no matter how you come across and that rings true for The Hybrid Initiative.
